# GoDeal

## Product

GoDeal lets two strangers complete a paid deal without trusting each other first:

1. Buyer sets terms and locks funds in an on-chain smart contract **or** a platform treasury address.
2. Seller accepts, delivers work / digital goods / services.
3. Buyer confirms; funds release to the seller (minus platform fee).
4. On dispute, a designated arbitrator (platform, named middleman, or anonymous pool) splits funds between buyer and seller based on evidence. The arbitrator cannot send funds to themselves or a third party.
5. In **contract mode**, the platform holds **no private key** that can move escrowed funds.

## Deal types

Homework/writing, file delivery, design, development, digital goods, custom. Fund modes: on-chain contract or platform treasury. Dispute modes: platform private ruling, named middleman, anonymous panel vote. Delivery body can be hidden from the panel.

## Fund modes

- **On-chain contract**: funds locked in ZeroTrustEscrow (or Solana program PDA). True zero-trust for custody.
- **Platform treasury**: buyer transfers to a published treasury; Worker verifies tx hash; payouts use maker-checker dual control.

## Fees

Platform fee ≈ max(~$1 USD equivalent, amount × fee_bps). Optional arbitrator fee only charged when a ruling is made.

## What this is not

- Not a custodial exchange.
- Not a mixer / tumbler.
- Middlemans do **not** confirm successful trades; they only arbitrate disputes.
